GANDHI

Gandhi inspired me because he fought for his people's independence without being violent. He showed tolerance and never resisted when the British beat him or arrested him. All he ever said was, "I forgive you, because I know you don't want to but you have to because that is your job". I think that is the main reason Gandhi inspires me so much. Because after he gained freedom for his people they named him father of hope. And shortly after that a man named Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. realized what Gandhi had did, so he did the same thing only he did it for African Americans, and both times the method worked. So that shows me that we can solve major problems without violence. So just like many others across the world I truly admire the method Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. use to bring peace to the world non-violently.
